Professors Jean Camp & Tadayoshi Kohno named as judges for FTC IoT Contest

In the search for better consumer solutions to IoT security failures, the FTC announced a contest for the best device that will help consumers scan their networks for potential security openings based in out of date software on IoT devices. Winners will get $25,000 for first place, or $3,000 for honorable mention.

Judges for the contest include IU’s Jean Camp and UW’s Tadayoshi Kohno who are both leads on the Iot House Research Center.
